    So I need "Consumer Reports" type info.
    
    We bought a couple of Gremlins and are starting
    to 'assemble' them. So we need to go and buy a 
    .25 motor I seem to be seeing 3 main types of basic
    motors in this class.  OS 25 , Magnum 25, Enya 25
    
    
    these are all FP type or (Bottom of the performance barrel)
    and from the 3-4 hobby stores and a few catalogs it seems
    Magnum is the cheapest in price and OS is in the middle
    and Enya is a little more than OS.
    
    SO... at this 'basic' level of engines (all around $60)
          is there a a great difference in quality? Performance?
          reliability?
    
     I feel the OS 25FP is going to be our choice since most fly
     Gremlins with OS? (atleast that's what I've noticed?)

	The OS engines have been more consistant in quality than the Magnums. Haven't seen a lot of Enyas (but 15 years ago Enya, SuperTigre, and Webra were all I flew) More shops carry OS parts while Magnum parts have been harder to find.

	The OS25 FP is a sweetheart. You need to run it in for about an hour of rich running in the air. I swear by mine

	I would strongly recommend the OS25FP even if it is $10 more. It will not give you any problems and parts are easy to obtain. The Magnum is a copy but in my opinion it is inferior. I do not know anyone who has a bad OS25FP! $59 is the going price from Tower and at some hobby shops. My 25FP is at least 4 years old and it has lots of run time. I have cleaned the outside once and replaced glowplugs when they fail. It has always started easily and it has been the easiest engine to adjust that I have owned. Biased!

	Go with OS. Mine is a joy to run. Starts like a champ, idle's like a champ, and the throttle is always there. Magnum's are copies and quality is not consistant. Enya's are LOUD. Steve
