| | Hobby Lobby carries them. Possibly a good automotive supply place too.

| | Hobby Lobby has them, but you can make something that works just as
    well: Cut about 3/16 off the end of a piece of tubing and using
    needle nose pliers, stretch it over the end of your fuel tubing. This
    will give the extra constriction needed to hold it tightly in place on
    your carb or muffler fitting. Works fine for me.

| | If you push the point of a pencil into the line you can get it to roll
    back over itself doing the same thing without the cut. Push the pencil
    in and when you get it almost all the way on, you can roll the end back
    off over itself. I've done it with the medium tubing that way. You
    might need something bigger for the large tubing. Don't poke the
    pencil through the tubing wall.

| | Thanks. I will try these ideas and see how I get on. I think I will
    get the clips from Hobby Lobby but that will take a while.

    Regards,

    Eric.

| 1415.6 | Got the clips | GALVIA::ECULLEN | It will never fly, Wright ! | Tue Apr 28 1992 09:25 | 7 |
| | Clips arrived mid-week last (approx 2 weeks delivery from Hobby Lobby).
    The larger clips were shipped but the smaller ones were not in stock so
    they cancelled that part of the order. I will probably just tighten the
    larger clips to fit or else just double over the tubing. I like the
    idea of clips for ease of replacement etc on the field. But anyway.

| 1415.7 | barbs for holding on tubing | GALVIA::ECULLEN | It will never fly, Wright ! | Mon Oct 04 1993 06:50 | 5 |
| | Just read a note off the usenet on Dubro 'solder on brass barbs' that are
    soldered onto brass tubing to prevent tubing slipping off them. There
    were no other details. So has anyone seen or heard about these ?

    Eric.
