				HELP
	I'm asking for the help of every RC pilot and noter that reads
this conference. At present my club is without a viable field and there
is a chance that we could obtain a field on some Conservation Land in
Western Ma.  What we need is;
		1) Names of clubs that utilize Conservation Land in Ma,
					          Federal Land within the US
						  State Land within the US
		2)    Club contacts ;  Name,phone number,address
		3)    The name of the individual the club has with the;
						  Conservation Commission
						  Federal Land management
						  State Land management
			Include phone number and address if you have it.
			Thank's in advance for your help.

| Although I dont know of any club as you describe, you can contact the
    BLM (Bureau of Land Management) for maps showing the status of all
    property in some level of detail. They could also give you the
    procedure for securing a lease for the use you propose. The lease for
    a non profit organization would typically be $1.00 per year. I don't
    know what percentage of federally managed land there is back east
    although I imagine it to be pretty small as compared to out west where
    there is plenty of it.

    Good Luck,

| Sorry to bust the ol' bubble Will, but the gov't has caught on to this bargain. We're paying big bucks to Colorado for the pasture land we're renting out on the prairie. But we get the Marlboro Man as our neighbor so it all isn't so bad... | |||||

| I want to thank everyone who has replied here and via vaxmail. Your
    help is most appreciated. Ironicly however it will be about six months
    until we (the club) find out if our efforts in attaining an area in
    Londmeadow Ma. were fruitful. The board that retains responsibility
    for the area we seek is off until March as the area is "officially"
    closed down during the winter. Again I do appreciate the replies.
    They were most helpful in developing our proposal.
