TO ALL YOU CAR BUFF'S!!!!
My son has the Tamiya Falcon and we went to the races
at Roller Kingdom in Hudson and what happened was he
slamed in a wall and bent his stearing rods.I straitend
out the rods but the problem now is getting the alinment
strait.I've check the servo and it seems to be alright,
I even replaced it that did not solve the problem.
The actual problem is one wheel turns more than the
other wheel and when they are strait one wheel is off about
a 1/4 of an inch. The ball links seem to be alright also,Ive
tried to adjust the links also.Any suggestions would be
appreciated on fixing this problem.
Thank you
Jerry

CHECK THE DIRECTIONS THAT CAME WITH THE KIT. YOU'LL SEE THAT THE
WHEELS SHOULD NOT BE ALIGNED STRAIGHT BUT WITH A LITTLE TOE IN
WITH THE SERVO IN THE CENTER POSITION. ADJUST THE TIEROD ENDS (BALL
SOCKETS). ALSO ON THE FALCON WHEN YOU TURN THE WHEELS FULL RIGHT
ONE WHEEL LOOKS LIKE IT TURNS FURTHER. IF YOU TURN THE WHEELS FULL
LEFT THE OTHER WHEEL LOOKS LIKE IT TURNS FURTHER. THIS IS NORMAL
ON THE FALCON. ALSO WHAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO DO IS DISASSEMBLE THE
FRONT END AND CHECK FOR ANY CRACKED PARTS. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT
RACE.

| 495.2 | Check original servo installtion. . . | RAVEN1::HANEY | Sun Jul 31 1988 20:44 | 12 | |
You might try taking the servo saver off the servo, putting
it in neutral, and reattaching it. It sounds to me it was never
installed in neutral to begin with. Make sure your radio and
transmitter are turned on and steering trim is centered. After
this, do what the previous reply suggested. Also check mounting
screws on servo as to tightness. Goo luck.

If all of this fails, take it to a hobby shop, not a mail order
house.
