Are you using mini servos (similar to futaba s33) in your plane?
If so you might want to consider using the standard size servo.
I lost a .40 sized ship to a futaba s33. The servo has plenty of
torque, but the gear train is kind of weak and lost a tooth on the
elevator servo coming out of a dive (control surface flutter).
Now I only use them in electrics and 1/2A stuff that really needs
them. Has anybody else heard of similar problems with the mini
    servos?

I got the mini flight pack because of the mini servos.
The aileron servo has to be mounted into a very shallow and
narrow airfoil and the plans specify micro servos. I tested a
regular size servo and it clearly was much too big. The other
three servos also need to be small because they are mounted
directly above the aileron pushrods and can't be moved a lot
because of the short length between bulkheads. Hope I don't run
        into the problem you describe.
