| jumpin jaysus that's a beaute pete. you should be able to contact the
maine organization that monitors hunting and issues licenses. here in
MN i can simply call the department of natural resources and get the
info your looking for. maine should have an equivalent.

After reading about your buck I have come to the decision that you
should hang it in my house(Someone looking to steal it would never find
it!). I have taken 2 of my nicest 9 pointers down and the space is
ready......What do you think?

Pete,
There are two different scores under B&C one for Typical
and one for Non-Typical. I believe and I'm sure someone else can can
verify the score for Typical is 185 and Non-Typical is 175. You should
make your state books and ceritified B&C scorer could tell you if you
will have a chance at their books. Don't they have someone scoring at
the Augusta Sportman Show during the winter? No matter what though it
sounds like a trophy and congrats.

those # sound familiar, but for some reason I seem to remember reading
recently that the scpreing min. are going to be higher starting 1/1/95.
best thing to do is make a call to fish&game and find out who the local
scoreing person is.
