            Can anyone out there help me out ...???? I am looking for a
    purebred German Shorthaired Pointer or maybe you know who breeds these
    dogs. I have been unsuccessful in my search for this dog. I would like
    to get one for Chrstmas for the kids.....I also want this to be from a 
    line of hunter parents, I plan to train the dog for pheasant and
    partridge hunting.......I would appreciate any help in this area !!!!!

	You may consider adoping a GSP through the German Shorthairer Pointer Rescue Club. I'm currently looking too, and they've referred to a few possible kennels in the MA, CT area. 	I recently adopted a GSP thru the GSP rescue club. Your local MSPCA (pound) should have the # for the local branch of the club. I got an 8-week old male for short money. He's healthy and made a big hit with the kids already. Time will tell if he grows into a hunter. The price is right thru the GSP rescue line, however it could be tough to trace bloodlines.
