I heard that specific western counties in Mass are opening a special
goose season starting Sept-15th for x amount of days.

I received word that the opening day for mass this year will be Oct
13th.
Can't wait to blast some quackers!

The American Hunter has run 3 part series on it, basically they felt
it had potential and retained the energy much better than steel,
problems with it included making shot sizes large enough for geese.
I believe they can only get up to about 5 (?), something about the
method that it is made can't get uniform pellets larger than that.
Other things they mentioned were pellet fragmentation, both in the
barrle and when it hits the target, though they felt that this was
improving.
I also don't believe it has been ok'd for use in the US, the
writers had to go to Mexico to try the stuff out.
