I think "Sporting-Clays" would fit your need. Is this what you're
asking or are you talking strictly rifle?

If I get a Sunday off, I am going to try the Sporting Clays that
they started at Riverside in Hudson Ma. I was thinking mainly rifle
    tho for this note.

Nothing very pressing, just curious. (I may need to take some
different altitude shots at short range if Mr. Woodchuck gets much
    bolder!)

There is an established sporting clay course at the North Leominster
R & G Club. The people there have done a tremendous amount of work
on the grounds and must be seen/expierenced to be appreciated.

| | Be advised that the North Leominster club's "sporting clays"
course consists of several stations around only one target
         thrower.

Right Doug, but it does offer slightly different views of that same
target. No matter how much we practice, controlled scenerios do not
cover every situation that you might fall into in the wild. Do you
know of a course set up around several throwers? Would like to try
    it.

    re last couple.

Around one thrower???? Is this safe for more than one group at a time?
It also would limit the angle and heights of the "birds".

SKaT is a place in southern NH, I forget which town but there is a
note in here on it someplace (or firearms, or both). They have
around 30 stations, each has its own thrower (some have 2). They
also have skeet and trap ranges. Great way to spend an afternoon.

If you go on a weekday they ask that you call first to make sure
someone is there. Weekends, no need to call, just show up.

I went in December, the cost was $15 if you have never been there,
$20 otherwise. This was for a round of 50 shots, 6-8 at a station,
some singles, some doubles, some were doubles with the second bird
launched at the sound of the first shot.

On second thought you may want to call ahead on weekends to make sure
they are not having a registered shoot there. Not sure how often they
have them, but when I was there they were getting ready for one.
