Last night while watching a movie I heard a noise like a small
child screaming, so I went outside and it was coming from across the
    road in an apple orchard.

I got my spotlight out of the gun cabinet and went back outside
I opened the car and plugged in the light, and what a supprise I got,
there not 50 yrds from the house was a BOBCAT, I couldnt believe it.

As soon as I hit it with the light it stood there for about 4-5
seconds then took off but it only went 40-50 yrds then stopped, and
    then started that crying again.

I swear the hair on my neck is still standing on end...........

| Isn't that a cool sound? It _does_ make the hair on your neck stand on end, too. The first time I ever heard it, I felt like I knew what primitive man felt like on a regular basis. :-) | |||||

    	Where do you live??

It took me two years to convince people in my neighboorhood
(E.Hudson/Marlboro Ma. line) that there were a LOT of deer behind my
house. Then one got 'nicked' on the road in front of the house.

    	NOW they beleive me!

I live in the small town of Williamson, NY although I am only 25 miles
from Rochester. We live on a farm, and there are apple orchards all
around the house. and if you walk out to the back yard you can see
about 12 miles of lake Ontario.
