Good luck in your new adventure. Now that your in business
for yourself, you probably won't have anymore time to
hunt, so when does the auction start ? Smile.

Good luck and my your new business bring you contentment

| | By popular demand (Jeff) the following is a commercial message.

    	Shinin' Times Trading
    	Jones Rd. Rt2
    	Calhan, Co. 80808

    	(719) 683-3420

Will attend Black Powder rendezvous, initially in
Colorado, and one in Raton New Mexico. It will inhabit a primitive
wall tent, and deal in clothing, leather goods, beadwork, iron and
steel implements, wooden items, and some black powder accessories
of the pre- 1840 period. Most of the sale items will be made by
local crafts persons, and will be mostly functional as opposed to
decorative. With time, and a modicum of success, I hope to expand
into fancier, more decorative items, and black powder firearms.

If you're ever at rendezvous, look for Shinin' Times, and drop
    in an' jaw awhile.

    	George

| 627.6 | Who's not going to hunt?? | SSDEVO::BOURBEAU |  | Wed Mar 28 1990 16:16 | 11 |
| | re. .4 I'm getting my plane tickets for my Vermont hunt next week,
and the tents that I'm getting for the business will be suitable
for a hunting camp including facilities for a wood stove.
Does this seem like I'm willing to forget about hunting??

In fact, most rendezvous take place in prime hunting country,
so I can scout the area after business hours.

Seems like the best of all worlds to me. :^)

note with you, Maybe some day we can hunt a high ridge together.

Did you send a picture for the book? We will always have you
    around that way.

As of Wednesday, I'm out of here. I've decided to head down to Palo
Alto. I guess I won't be doing a lot of huniting for a while. Or at
    least not locally.

If anyone from the bay area is a big hunter and willing to show an out
    of towner around......

I wonder if trap shooting is big in the bay area.

Good luck and I'm sure the extra t won't hold you back. Are you
still going to be working for DEC? Keep practicing with that Weatherby
of yours on those rolling tires downhill.

I'll second that "good luck" Brett! Times of change, eh?
Hope it will work out for you. I know that CA may seem
a bit uninteresting (on the face of it) when compared to
Washington... But, there are a few attractions: some of
the best blacktail hunting in the country in the north
part of the state (Yolla-Bolla, Trinity Alps spring to mind),
I also hear that bear hunting is pretty good?
	Hope you stay with us!

| | Well, this is my last hunting note. It's been great talking with all
of you folks. Have fun in the woods always and be safe.

I've decided to join a very small company. I am leaving DEC. It's a
risk but I've got to try it.

Thanks for all the good times. Speaking of which, wasn't it roy fulton
that shoots at the rolling tires? ;-)
