I BOUGHT A BROWNING A500 AUTO LOADER THIS SPRING WITH THE INTENTION
OF GETTING THE SLUG BARRELL FOR HUNTING THIS FALL. I HAVE BEEN
UNSUCCESSFULL IN LOCATION A DEALER WHO CAN GET ONE ALTHOUGH THEY ARE
ADVERTISED BY BROWNING. I EVEN CALLED BROWNING DIRECT. ALL THEY WOULD
TELL ME WAS THAT 80 (EIGHTY) WERE SHIP FROM BELGIAM BUT WOULD NOT TELL
ME WHERE OR WHAT DISTRIBUTOR. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH
THEIR A500 SLUG BARRELS. WHY ARE THEY NOT AVAIABLE? WHEN WILL THEY
    BE?
                             THANKS DICK

| You might want to try some of the Deccie FFL's that are listed
in LOSER::FIREARMS. I've found that some of them can be VERY
    helpful.

| You should think about trying one of the Hastings rifled barrels. I
bought one for my 1100 two years the thing shoots great. It has a real
nice set of rifle sights on it. They are made in France and are of
excellent quality. I 'am pretty sure I have seen them for the A500. I
bought mine through Gander Mt. and received it in about four day and
they ship two day air if your in a hurry. I think they are up to $150.
    now.
