Get yourself a subscription to the AKC GAZETTE. Each
month, there is a "schedule of upcoming events",trials, hunting tests
and dog shows (yuk!)for the next 60-90 days....If you can wait until
the April 1 time frame I'll be bringing it to the "Greating Hunting
Notesfile Game Supper" and would give it up.... For "REAL DOG TRIALERS"
there is "The American Field" monthly Newspaper.... I gave up my
subscription since I don't own Eng.Ptrs or Setters.

| 379.7 | another way , maybe. | VELVET::GATH |  | Fri Mar 24 1989 10:23 | 15 |
| | I take route 202 and 10 out of Westfield Mass.

I stay on Route 10 until I see a big tower on the mountain
on the left and then start looking for signs.

It is not to difficult to find. There were always
    Blue seal Dog trial signs.

You can get to Westfild Mass via Mass pike.

it might be 1/2 hour or so south of Westfield in the state
of Conn. just off route 10.

Thanks for the Schedule and the info, hope to see you April 2nd.

    Re. 3

I hope to be able to attend the Spaniel Trials the weekend of April
15th/16th, but will only be able to make it one of the days at best.
Is there one of the two days you would recommend? Are there other
Spaniel trials in southern NH, MA or New England coming up?

    Thanks for the help.

    Re: .9

If I would have to choose between the two days, I would go on
Saturday becouse you could see both the Open all age and the
Puppy. Many of the dogs that run in the Open will also run
in the Amateur on Sunday. Springer trials are pretty exciting
to watch. If you can't make it to this one, I hope you get to
see one in the future !
