| I havn't seen todays paper yet since it only 4:00am but your
odds are better than ever this year. The F&G said that only 88,000
applicatons were submitted plus they raised the number of them to
45,000. Your odds are better then 50/50 this year. I also assume
that any flatlanders who applied will most likely receive one.

| I have a question, how do they decide or what formula do they use
to pick the permits. I know in Mass they go by the last digit in
the license number.

| Has any "Lucky" doe permits winners received thier permit
through the mail yet. On the application it stated that
we would receive such by Oct.1st.
I know my # was lucky, but I'm just anxious to receive
the official permit.

| I finally received my Doe permit last night in the mail.
I had called the F & G and they stated that those who were lucky
should receive their permits within the next week.
For those of you who know that you're # was drawn for that sector
and had applied on time and have not received a Doe permit by
next week just give the Maine F & G a call to inquire about such.
They are really nice folks to talk to.

| I recieved my permit last Friday however my hunting companion did
not recieve one even though he had the 2 last digits for our zone.
Does this mean that even if you have the last 2 digits for that
zone, it does not mean you are garanteed to get one?
