Thinking of deer hunting in New York next year.Can anyone give me
some Towns to consider or names and #s to call to make reservations.
Looking to rent a cabin type shack where i can hunt from the back
door and need not drive to the hunting grounds.any info would be
greatly appreciated.

do you want to do ...
Deer is almost over
in the nothernzone ( Adirondacs) the deer season is next to last
sat. in october till first Sunday in DEC.
in southern zone ( the rest of the state ) fist monday after Nov.
15 till first Tues. after Dec. 7th
Well if ya need some info give me a call I've lived/hunted in most
of state.

Might want to consider the Catskills. Phonecia, Arkville, Hunter
mountain, or anywhere north of Montecello. Real good white tail
country in those areas.

Some friends of mine hunt the Watkins Glen area every year,
and see plenty of nice bucks. This with bow and arrow. They
took matching 5-pointers this past year.
