first off you need a book value, most lenders use the BUC book for
this purpose. ya know a stake in the ground.

secondly i know nothing about cobalt, but would advise avoiding
a chris-craft of that vintage, and probably thru 1992.

none of us will probably have a copy. if you are a member of boat u.s.

call them. shawmut bank does boat loans, try them. the BUC is

an expensive publication.... possibly the dcu.

| 1134.4 | try the dcu for pricing | CFSCTC::ROWE |  | Tue Dec 14 1993 10:37 | 6 |
| | Try the dcu. I've had the dcu lookup several different
boat listings which they've had a listing for. However,
the dcu doesn't have a listing of every boat available.
	I'd give them a try.

| | Don't know if this would help but Trailer Boat Mag did a test of a
Cobalt Condurre 252 with Mercruiser 7.4 Bravo drive in March, 1990.
You can order a reprint from them for $3. You may be able to learn
some things about their quality control, etc., but I would not attempt
to draw comparisons regarding performance or handling. Just a thought.
If you want more info, please contact me off line.

| | Hi Joel,

In a nutshell, Cobalt is believed to be one of the best production boats
available today. FYI, their suggested retail prices do reflect their
reputation. I was looking at a new 22ft with the merc. 7.4 ltr. Last
summer. The dealer I talked to would "let it go" for 35K.
