S-I-P: 9:00 AM, route 495 near Westford, Mass, blizzard conditions,
6-8 inches of new white stuff already on the ground..... you get the
    picture, huh?

Northbound red ?Chevy? pickup proudly towing a multi-colored
25 foot Baja Force! A perfect picture for a caption of "Screw the
    weather, I'm going boating!"....

| | While driving back from Florida in December, I spotted a rig
    headed south, somewhere in Georgia.

It was a new Chevy 4X4 full size pickup. In the back were a
Yamaha Waverunner and a Harley Davidson. Following behind
    was a ~23' mid-cabin cruiser!

I think this guy was a frontrunner in the "He who dies with
    the most toys..." game!

| | Headed out for some after supper fishing Saturday night. The launch ramp
on the east side of Lake Massabesic (Manchester/Auburn NH) was,
unfortunately, occupied by an old Jeep Cherokee that was in the water up
to the driver's window. The back window was totally submerged.
I decided that I didn't want to use a ramp where you have to back *that*
far in.
The Manchester Police were there, as were the Manchester Water Dept.
folks. (Massabesic supplies water to Manchester faucets.) They were not
amused.

SIP, yesterday on a Me/NH lake...
A river rat's New (to him) toy. A Talon picklefork
powered by a Merc 200 OB that will do 87 MPH! He says it
rocks bow to stern at high speed rather than chine walking.
Also, a small home-made job, looked like a miniature
Cigarette (skinny and pointy), about 8-10 feet long, 20 HP Merc.
Had two kids about 8-12 years old in it cruising the lake. They
looked like they were having a ball... Come to think of it
the only reason they could legally be driving that boat is that
part of the lake is in Me. NH would classify it as a PWC and the
kid would have to be 16 years old. hmmmmm......
This lake was also rich with tournament boats. Saw a ~65
Correct Craft Mustang. Lot's of Nautiques of varying years including
an '86 Silver Nautique, and of course, a tan and blue '87 :-)
