A few weeks ago I went down to Monahan's Marine in Weymouth for some
chain to rebuild my father's mooring and was admiring a boat in the
showroom which they were just hauling out since it had been sold. After
a discussion with one of the folks there about trading up our current
boat he handed me a couple of brochures, one of which was for a line of
boats from a company called "Sylvan". It had a pretty extensive line of
aluminum fishing, pontoon, and paddle boats, as well a number of
fiberglass I/O's and outboards ranging from 17 to about 26 feet. I had
never heard of them and was wondering if any of you had heard of them
or had any experience with any of their products. Thanks.

| There seem to be quite a few Sylvan aluminum fishing boats here in
Michigan. I`ve never been on one or looked at then too close. I have
seen quite a number of them on the Great Lakes though.
