|  |     N.O.A.A. is now selling Waterproof versions of Navigational Charts. I
    bought some for the Cape Ann Area last year.

|  |     I bought one last year at the marina by the state launch in Hampton.
    They had bunches of charts. You look at a master map and pick
    out the section you want, then find the bin with the corresponding
    number. I think it was around 15$ for the map. I don't recall the
    name of the place. But you can't miss it...

    It is likely Baert Marine will have the charts, they are in Plastow
    and Hampton now (they definitly have them at the one in Danvers).
    Bliss in woburn also has charts.

|  |     CADCRAFT MARINE has a waterproof chart that covers from Samel sound
    to Cape Elizabeth, Me. Its printed on both sides and costs about
    $14.
    
    Cadcraft marine is in Nashua, N.H. off Rt 3, exit 5w.

|  |     Another solution to waterproof charts (from Western Boatman, I believe)
    
    Cut your non-waterproof charts into suitable sizes for you.
    Place them back to back and put them through on of those plastic
    coating machines.
    
    This keeps them handy, waterproof, and of a useable size, and no
    folds to worry about.

|  | I like the idea of plastic-coating the maps.  Does make it much easier to
get them.
