This note is something I've wanted to write for some time ,
but for numerous and varied reasons, haven't.
I made an abrupt departure from this file a couple of months
ago and in doing so hurt some friends that were simply in the
wrong place at the wrong time. To those friends, I extend a most
sincere apology.
I don't expect to be forgiven, but I am sorry.
