    I have a friend who has recently moved to Japan as part of an
    Japanese-Irish cultural exchange. She completed a degree in languages
    here in Ireland ( unfortunately Japanese is not one of the languages
    YET ) and untook a two year contract in Japan from the Japanese Government
    to teach english and experience Japanese culture.
    
    I have no doubts that she will find her feet after a time but for now
    I feel from talking to her that she is a little lost over there at
    present. Her nearest english speaking friends are 4+ hours away.
    
    She would welcome friends/pals, possibily ex-pats, living in the 
    
                        Fujimi-cho
    			Kazo-shi 
    			Saitama 347 
    
    area. This area I believe is about 4 hours north of Toyko.
    
    I believe that everybody who has lived abroad should be able to
    identify with her situation
