    I need an Adaptec 1742 EISA SCSI controller to put into an aged 200/300
    so I can run an external tape drive and back-up our shared files!

    No, but I can do you a Mylex EISA RAID disk controller, if that is of
    any use.
    
    Needs some 72 pin PC memory for a Cache but it should be OK.
