I heard a brief news clip on the way into
work this morning stating that cocaine was
found in an office or work area in the OPF
at the Cape. Does anyone have the complete
story (facts) on this?
Besides the obvious public reaction, I'm sure
that NASA has some public relations issues to
work with the DOD (remember the drug testing
ballyhoo of a couple of years ago?).

CNN had a blurb yesterday. Found under someone's desk... First instance
of it's kind...
Doesn't sound like 1990 has been very kind to the PR group at NASA

Once upon a time a worker out at KSC drove up in a porsche that he had just purchased (*cheap*) at an auction. Well, just his luck, the drug dogs came over to have a sniff at his car. They went beserk. So, the poor fellow got to watch the police (KSC security I think) take his car apart. The found nothing. zippo. nada. As it turns out the man bought the car at an auction which consisted of items confiscated from drug dealers... live and learn. brad | |||||
