My customer want confirmation on dual-homing failover time. I've read in this
conference that it will take under 2 seconds. Is there any formula to calculate
what it really would take? They will have 24 das nodes dual-homed into concentrators,
the concentrators will be connected via das. I've done some testing, with only 3 nodes,
and have found that it takes ~1.2 seconds to fail from the B to A port and about .8
seconds to fail back. Would it be safe to say with 24 nodes, it would take about
the same amount of time?
Thanks,
Brad
