    Hi,
    
    The 6000 series VAXs have to have the DEMFA board put in the right
    sequence on the backplane or it causes problems, the 7000 series do not have
    this problem, do the alphas 8400 have this problem and if so what is the
    right order.

| The XMI section of the 8400 is just like the 7000 series, so it is not a problem. | |||||

|     Remember, DEMFA controllers are end-of-life shortly, so you may not be
    able to get DEMFA's very easily if you don't already have them...
