2011.0. "tiny colored plastic port-type selectors?" by 49708::FRUEHWIRTH_M () Mon Apr 15 1996 13:05

hi all,

i've a question about 'labeling' MIC-PMDs.

there are 3 tiny colored plastic port-type selectors for marking
a MIC-connector as a specific type (A-red, B-blue, or M-green) on
each end of a DEC-MIC-cable.

on the opposite side, on the MIC-PMD, there is also the possibility
to mark it as a specific type with 4 tiny colored plastic port-type
selectors (A-red, B-yellow, M-white, S-blue).

our customer is configuring their DECconcentrator900MXs (7 pieces)
with each 6 M-ports, and they want to put the selectors on all the
DECconcentrator900MXs and cables.

in a box with one DECconcentrator900MX (preconfigured with 6x MIC-PMD)
only one small plastic bag with these selectors is delivered.

there is no part-number on the small plastic bag, so logistic was
not able to help me.

my question: where can i get additional selectors for the MIC-PMDs?
do you have a part-number or a better description
for these 'tiny colored plastic port-type selectors'?

thanks in advance
martin
