Can somebody tell me the various methods to upgrade the firmware on a
DECconcentrator 500

The two methods I use are:
DECndu PLUS
$ download load 08-00-2b-xx-xx-xx defcn34a.sys
and XDS if it's braindead, for the first timer this is not a trivial
task.
Remember, you need a management board and set the write enable switch.
