    Hi,

Question about PCI/DEFPA. Is there a limit for PCI/DEFPA if we
think about Multicast/Broadcast addresses? I think I have seen
number 64, but can someone confirm this?

    Regards, Risto

In addition to the 62 free entries in the CAM, the DEFPA also supports
a number of receive filters including multicast and unicast/multicast
promiscuous modes. So, push comes to shove, the adapter can be
programmed to accept packets beyond the limits of CAM space.
