I have a customer who is about purchase (3) XMI base DEMFAs, and (4)
Turbochannel based DEFTAs ... and will be shortly purchasinng a whole
bunch of PCI based ALPHAs with DEFPAs. I have performance specs from
the Digital Technical Journals on both the DEMFAs and the DEFTAs. Are
these update to date specs or should I be using other ones.
Also an earlier note provided DEFPA performance info... Is there a more
verbose version similar to the Digital Technical Journal ones... for
the DEFPA PCI cards...
any help would be appreciated

We don't have anything more verbose. We do have a few press articles
that mention performance. Network Computing (1/15/95) had an article
on DEFPA which showed excellent performance over a SysKonnect EISA
card. There are some other articles in the pipeline that (hopefully)
will show similar results.
