SMT 7.3 was the last committee draft, which included all of the
the editorial comments. The technical content is identical to
    SMT 7.2

The standard is approved, and has the number X3.229-1994

| | When will our products, specifically the DEFPA support SMT 7.3?

    Today. :-)

Seriously, though. What makes you believe we don't support SMT 7.3
    already?

| | We have an RFP from a customer. They require SMT 7.2, with SMT
7.3 by 1996. A colleague of mine wrote that we supported SMT
7.2, with no mention of 7.3. We got a follow-up question about
plans for 7.3. I get to respond with a "correction" stating we
currently support 7.3.
Thanks for the response.
