My customer has 12 DECConcentrator 500's, and has recently aquired
a SUNET management station. He has the DEC_ELAN_VENDOR_MIB_V29.
He is trying to set the esysFDDIPORTTRAPSwitch. There is only 1
concentrator that has anything set for this parameter, and this bridge
is running DEFCN V3.2 This is the only concentrator with 3.2 & no 3.2
is available via the TSC. I have tried 3.0 ,3.1, 3.3 & 3.4A , and am
unable to set this switch. I find it hard to believe that this function
was only available in 3.2, there must be something that I am missing
somewhere.
As an addition., the one concentrator that has the trap
switch set, just returns lots of numbers, that mean nothing to the
mere mortal.
