HI,
we experience some troubles with defea in a SFT III 3.11 netware
server.
2 DECPC XLSERVER 590 AND DEFEA AS MSL.
We tried almost all actions on software and hardware.
It seems a problem of version of card :
when we had TWO B01 (Firmware 2.3) boards the servers lost
synchroniza
tion 1 to 3 times /day
when we had 1 A01(firmware 2.2) AND B01 (Firmware 2.3) boards
the servers lost
synchronization and halt with ABEND MESSAGE on the server with
the B01 board
ONLY THE A01 VERSION IS NOVELL CERTIFIED WITH THE 1.03 MSL DRIVER
do the B01 version works with Sft III and MSL DRIVERS 1.03
(940114) ?
IS it possible to downgrade a B01 version in A01 version?
can we got 2 DEFEA version A01
if some body have an other idea, he will be welcome.

Not sure if this is the same case as the NETWARE conference NOTE 1756.
But just in case it is: IPMT CFS.28993 logged as similar problem turned
out to be a bad mem SIMM in the secondary server.
The NETWARE conference says the case is crossposted to this conference
as note 1465.2 which is not the case. Notes 1563 and 1644 have similar
problem descriptions.
