    We support a number of sites running Ethernet and FDDI on AXP
    2000-300's and would like a method of determining if an FDDI card has
    failed.  One solution is to send the output of the ANALYZE/SYSTEM to a
    disk file and perform F$LOCATE's, but this seems hokey.
    
    Anyone have a piece of code ( C preferably ) that will monitor number
    of bytes transmitted/received, similar to the output from
    ANALYZE/SYSTEM SHOW PORT/VC?
