| | Some answers:
DEFTA-AA replaces the DEFTA-FA ( according to the CEO database on VTX
-- {$VTX CEO}). The -AA is a TurboChannel SAS card.
The DEFTA-UA is a ANSI DRAFT TP-PMD V1.0 interoperable TurboChannel
SAS card. Please do NOT call this CDDI! It has virtually NOTHING in common
w/ CDDI. In fact, CDDI is a trademark used by one of our competitors for a
proprietary copper interface.

| | Thanks for the answer Bill,

(I won't call it CDDI again).

Does anyone know which operating systems support these devices?

    Thanks,

| | The DEFZA's I'm not sure, but I know Ultrix was the supported OS for
some time. On the DEFTA's, I assume that OSF/1 AXP and OpenVMS AXP are
supported along with the current shipping version of Ultrix.
