1434.0. "DEFTA & DEFZA Circuit downs" by SEDSWS::CLIFFE () Wed Aug 31 1994 12:13
Are there any known bad microcode revisions of DEFTA or DEFZA modules.
We basically have 6 DEFTA's and 1 DEFZA's as part of an FDDI network,
and we are seeing Circuit down events perhaps 1/2 a day, randomly on
these devices. The DEFTA are runnig V5.5-2H4 and the DEFZA is runnig
VMS 5.5-2.
There are several articles that say how to check the microcode using
SDA but I don't seem to get info that corresponds anything like what
I should be seeing. So If anyone knows exactly how to check the
microcode revision then that would be a great help.
