Note 2634.0 Servers on FDDI, %NB-E-BADNTPKTLEN
We have a customer who has several pathworks servers
connected via FDDI and several on ethernet.
On all the FDDI based nodes the file
pcfs$log_files:NETBIOS_ERROR.LOG
is permanently open by the netbios process. The only error
inside is this
%NB-E-BADNTPKTLEN, bad ethernet packet length
Can anyone tell me under what conditions this error message
is generated ?

I don't know what conditions cause it, but...
Maybe the FDDI conference (UPSON::FDDI) can help.
It's important to note the Modified date of the NETBIOS_ERROR.LOG
to
determine the last time that message was written.
