1381.0. "Downlineloading WANrouter over FDDI Interface ?" by FSTSC1::AURAND () Mon Jun 20 1994 02:29
    		< Crossposted also in DECnet/OSI >

Hi everybody,
it would be nice, if somebody can give me some information about downline
loading of the WANRouter / X25Gateway Software over a FDDI bridge from VAX 7000
with a FDDI controller.
I looked around in some notesfiles but still I need some clarification:
1.) Downlineloading the Phase V software for the DEMSA boxes will work and is
    supported over FDDI and a FDDI/Ethernet bridge ?
2.) To load from a DECnet/OSI system you need the 5.6B version ? (I got a trace
    from a DECnet/OSI V5.5 machine and the downline load request uses a
    BufSiz=1518; looking in the DECnet/OSI ECO release notes, I read something
    about a NET$MOP correction which limits the FDDI load/dump segment size to
    1498)
Many thanks in advance
	Andreas
