Anyone have numbers for the interface only in terms of bits per second
    for the DEFEA?

    22 byte packets ?? Mbps
    > ?? byte packets 100 Mbps
As always when applications are added, you mileage will vary.
    Thanks in advance.

| Dave,

Have you checked out the FDDI NICs whitepaper? It includes some
performance data. You can find it on ftp.digital.com in
    /pub/DEC/DECinfo/whitepaper/fddi-nics.ps. Throughput wise, the highest
we've seen is 112-114 Mbps in full-duplex mode. I have some data for
IPX and IP routing performance at various packet sizes in a Novell
MultiProtocol Router setup with two DEFEAs in each server (one
receiving, one transmitting). This data was taken at Scott Bradner's
    bridge/router study last year.
