Hello !


I can't update a DECconcentrator 500 with DECNDU Plus V1.0 using a  
Ultrix-Station !

It also doesn't work with any other load image (defcn033.sys,defcn032.sys,..)
The Concentrator is all the time online (no reset).

                decndup -i -u 08-00-2b-xx-xx-xx defcn034.sys

I think I found the Problem. 

I copied the DECConcentrator image with the decnet copy command (dcp) from a 
VMS-System to a ULTRIX-System. But I does not use the -i (image mode) option. 
So the Image is corrupted when I gave it to my Customer.  

So when I load the bad image the Concentrator behaves as follows:

1. Setting RBMS DLU switch to TRUE          
2. Beginning MOP downline load      load into the RAM-Landing-Area

3. Check CRC of image ->            if bad do not acknowledge the final 
				    message

4. DECNDU Plus reports		    error during parameter load message
				    no response from target                 
				    Waiting for device to come back on-line
			
				    Sending RBMS read device message
				    Device back on line                        
				    Target device is a DEFCN____ version 3.1   
                                         
5. Setting RBMS DLU switch to FALSE                   


Attention: The Concentrator do not report that the Load-Image has an 
	   CRC-Error or is corrupted !
