Can you reset the 900 mx fddi concentrator factory default parameters for
port 1 and 6 that are set to port 1 = A port and port 6 = B port to
port 1 and 6 both = M port via the out of band management port of the
onehub via command line instructions?
I have read the sales update and installation manual and only find
reference to HUBwatch being used to reset ports 1 and 6 of the
deconcentrator 900mx .
I have a customer needing the 900mx to interconnect 5 axp 150 pc's
using utp fddi and do not have hubwatch as an option for these
platforms as yet to my knowledge.
Many thanks in advance;
Ron Laverdure

You cannot reconfigure using the command line (Setup Port...the out of band port is a SLIP port not a command line interface.) You need HUBwatch (V3.x which is not out yet) to do this. Luc

Hi, you don't need to reconfigure port 1 and 6 to M ports, if you want to connect S ports to them. Standard FDDI connection rules, see Networks Buyer's Guide (1992-1993) page 3-15. /Stefan
