    I a customer site I installed a DECbridge 610 (FDDI/Ethernet),the
    customer want to manage this bridge with a SNMP Management (Netview
    6000).Use this tool the customer see all informatio about the bridge
    parameter,but when try to change it ,the NV 6000 exit for timeout and
    I ead this message "bad community name".
    The customer use a pubblic comunity for READ and WRITE,and in the
    Bridge 620 I don't found any command for set the community.
    
    Any help ?

|  |     Set the WRITE community string to the hardware address of port 1.
    Don't use the "public" string for writes.
    
    example address: 08-00-2b-ab-cd-ef
    
    write community string:  "08002babcdef"
