| | It can be had by anonymous FTP on gatekeeper.dec.com. Look in:
	/pub/DEC/mib/README
That file lists the actual MIB files, which live in the same directory. The
DECbridge MIBs are in there.
I believe the bridge access module uses that MIB. In any case, the MIB
definitely gives you full management access to the bridge.

The bridge am is part of the ELM AM package which uses the RBMS
protocol and has nothing to do with MIBs or SNMP.

    re .0

SNMP management of the DECbridge 5xx/6xx gives the user the same level
of control as does the bridge am but its not SIMPLE. For example the
    attributes (characteristics/counters/status) are spread over four MIBs;
MIB-II, BRIDGE (RFC1286), FDDI (RFC1285) and the DEC Vendor MIB.

The DECmcc product ships with MIB-II integrated into the SNMP AM and
the BRIDGE and FDDI MIBs are located in the MCC_COMMON directory. Also
in MCC_COMMON is revision 2.0 of the DEC Vendor MIB but rev 2.7 can be
    copied from gatekeeper.

For SNMP management you'll need the bridge to be at 1.3 the latest
software rev. One problem that you should be aware of; some of the
counters (I think in the interface group) aren't incrementing and the
maintainer of the software is looking into getting this fixed.

| | Bill is the DECconcentrator 500 v.3.2.1, SNMP manageable and if so are
there any mibs with DECmcc that should be loaded.

| | For the DEFCN you need to load the FDDI MIB located in MCC_COMMON and
rev 2.7 of the DEC Vendor MIB on gatekeeper.
