Hi,
On an AXP 3000-500 running OSF1 v.1.3, I noticed that a
DEFTA (firmware 1.0) is reporting a wrong PMD type, see below :
# netstat -I fta0 -s |more
PMD Type ANSI Singlemode Type 1
so, PMD Type is set to 1 instead 0

| 1153.1 | PMD type on AXP/VMS | PRSSOS::GROSSETETE | Mon Nov 22 1993 10:58 | 14 | |
Problem in .0 must be coming from OSF1 driver since an AXP/VMS
system displays :
ncl sho fddi stat fddi-0 phy port * pmd type
Node 0 FDDI Station FDDI-0 PHY Port FDDI-0

Characteristics
PMD Type = ANSI Multi-Mode
