IMPORTANT:
Currently, addresses in the 23-365A1-00 LAN address ROM have a "shadow"
associated with each address. The shadow is obtained by a simple algorithm
from the address stored in the ROM.
The current block assigned to that part is running out, and a new block
has been assigned. At this time we need to start phasing out the "shadow"
feature. Therefore I have assigned a "shadow" only to about a 6 months'
volume of addresses.
Everyone who is using this feature in some product should get in touch
will me. I know most of them, but in case I missed one: would any of you
who are responsible for such a product send me mail or a phone call? And if
you know someone who is, please ask them to do likewise.
