Anybody out there have any experience with the Fibronics 8610
Worksation Server? I'm looking for problems with its bridging
capabilities. If you can call me I would appreciate it.

| If you have a Fibronics 8610 in your network you probably have
problems. At this problem site the customer was complaining of DECnet
loosing adjacenies every 18 to 24 hours for about 20 minutes.

Fibronics claims this Workstation Server is also a bridge. It has 12
ports and you hook 2 Ethernet devices per port to the Workstation server
which then bridges them to FDDI. Fibronics is onsite working on this
problem. The customer has discovered that data is being lost across
the Fibronics device as well as the adjaceny issue.
