I have a customer that purchased DEFZA-AA option and installed it in two
VAXstation 4000 mdl. 90's and are unable to turn the fddi line/circ on .
They have the problem on both machines.
The error message is
NCP-W-OPEFAI Operation failure
System-F-abort fatal hardware error.
or System-F-devoffline = device is not in configuration or not available.
They are trying to do a Station to Station connection between the 4000's
is this possible or do they need a concentrator.
My second question is they want to boot via the FDDI controller into a
LAVC is this supported?
