    	Hi,

    	When you manage a DECbridge 5xx/6xx using RBMS protocol,
    you are able to see the forwarding database content with dynamic
    entries (learned addresses) and static entries (permanent or
    management set addresses) since a DECmcc/DECelm or DECmsu station.

    	I tried to get the same information using SNMP but reading
    the DEC MIB (v.1.7 august 1991), I just found the objects :
    	. ebr_TwoPortStaticTable (for DECbridge 5xx)
    	. ebr_multiplePortStaticTable (for DECbridge 6xx)
    which gave me the static entries as defined
    but I didn't find anything object to get the dynamic entries.
    	Did I miss something ?

    Patrick

| 484.1 | Use the bridge MIB | QUIVER::HARVELL | Fri Feb 21 1992 11:09 | 5 | |
| You need to use the bridge mib for the dynamic table. I don't have the
    MIB number but is located on the gatekeeper.dec.com account. The
    entries in this mib are prefaced with the name dot1d...

| 484.2 | Conform to RFC 1286 ? | PRSSOS::GROSSETETE | Mon Feb 24 1992 02:40 | 6 | |
|     	Thanks Scott,

    I also found that Bridge MIB is now a RFC (#1286), so can we
    say we are conforming to it ?
