    Hi there,
    
    I am currently in a bad situation due to the way FDDI was sell to my
    customer.
    They received 2 DECconcentrator 500 and 2 decsystems 5000 with DEFZA
    (DECcontroller 700)
    Unfortunatly the DEFZA where deliver with copper connection rather then
    fiber 
    
    We can't actually manage the DECconcentrator 500 from the decsystems 
    using for example MCC to define is address (bootp won't work either)
    DECbridge 500 was not order , so ELMS can't be either the solution
    as the vaxstation are connected to ethernet 
    
    The only possible solution to get out of this rathole is to have the
          DECCONCENTRATOR 500 SOFTWARE Version 3.1  
    
    which allow to set & show SNMP variable.
    
    This Version is not available through our CSC in Switzerland.
    
    Who can give me a pointer to it on the EASYNET to solve rapidly 
    this problem.
