have been entered into a STARS article in the NCSS database. Any
support specialist in any CSC can access this information. It can be
provided to customers via hardcopy, magtape, or DSNlink.

| I have a customer who just received an update for their FDDI equipment
firmware and according to them references the DEC Vendor MIB version
1.8 dated November 1991.
Looking in the node referenced in the release notes they can find
Version 1.3 dated April 1991.
Where is the disconnect? Is the latest DEC-ELAN-MIB V1.3 the one
available on gatekeeper or is there a later version?

| On of my customer receive a SSB DECconcentrator 500 (fddi)
Reading the Release notes AA-PHUKA-TE that he received, it says :
The DECconcentrator 500 Operational Firmware V3.0 has the following
functions:
....
The Digital Vendor MIB ELANEXT Version 1.3 can be access through
gatekeeper.dec.com through anonymous ftp in /private/MIB directory
Trying that gives me :
ftp gatekeeper.dec.com
Connected to gatekeeper.dec.com.

elan-mib v1.8 is there now (1.8 is required for DECbridge 6XX
which is now shipping, thanks for bringing up)..
