| | Our product will work with single-mode optical fibers that are
    	compliant with the following specifications:

    		CCITT Recommendation G.652

IEC International Standarf 793-2, Type B1

An ANSI specification for this fiber type is currently in
a letter ballot form. The Electronic Industries Association (EIA)
and the Telecommunication Industries Association (TIA) have a
Project Number for this work (PN-2378). When the document is
put out for final ballot it will have a Standards Proposal number
(SP-2378). The timing for issuance as a Standards Proposal is
uncertain. This is because I have to generate a variant of the
specification to meet some new requirements of the Inspectorate,
so that the product can be qualified according to their practice.
This new variant will not alter any of the physical or optical
characteristics of the fiber. It is merely defining qualification
and conformance test levels, sampling plan issues, part numbering
    	details, etc.

When the document passes all these hurdles, it will be assigned
an ANSI/EIA/TIA number. (Probably 492BAAA, but don't use that as it
    	doesn't exist yet)

So use the CCITT and/or the IEC documents.
